sales assistant

Performs support activities for multiple sales associates and supervisors. Duties may include updating web platform, quoting projects, filing, following up with customers, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations.



  • Maintain and Grow National Accounts, some order processing involved - Make 25 outgoing calls to national accounts a day
  • Process and create quotes for small projects
  • Follow up with customer service / service calls
  • Prepare reports, and assist with special projects, presentations, and meetings
  • Follow up after email marketing blasts (Hot Deals/ Happy Fathers day!/ Summer is Upon Us!, etc...)
  • Inside Sales (Leads and churn list)
  • Follow up on new accounts with phone call and new account letter
  • Follow up on leads and quotes - Set reminders and follow up 24 hours after quote is sent
  • Keep in contact with customers, ensuring they are satisfied with Priority Lighting’s services
  • Assist with other tasks as needed
  • Perform Energy Audits*
  • Meet with Clients*
  • Rebate and ROI savings (proposals for customers)*
  • Maintain smaller projects and accounts (Electrical Contractors, owners, conversion projects, etc... - This would include taking projects from cradle to grave (bid, buy-out, deliver)*

Physical requirements

Primarily sedentary physical work requiring ability to lift a maximum of 40 pounds; occasional lifting, carrying, walking and standing; frequent hand/eye coordination to operate computer keyboard and office equipment; vision for reading, recording and interpreting information; speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and members of the public.
